Insurance and Billing

The Orthopedic Surgery Center of Arizona accepts most major insurances. As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance carrier for you; however, we cannot tell you what your policy will cover. Since your insurance policy and coverage is between you and your carrier, we urge you to contact them prior to your procedure. You will be responsible for any co-pays, co-insurance and/or deductibles. We accept cash, check or credit card. We also offer the option to pay bills online. With our online bill pay option, you can securely make a payment for your service online with no hassles.

Pay Bill Online

All patient out-of-pocket expense is estimated, based on information received from your surgeon’s office and insurance carrier. You are required to pay any estimated patient responsibility at the time of service.

Insurances Accepted at TOSCA

The Orthopedic Surgery Center of Arizona contracts with a wide variety of insurance plans and works with patients to accommodate their billing needs. We do not contract with Medicaid, Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) or Affordable Care Act Plans (ACA or Obamacare). We do accept:

  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • CIGNA
  • Medicare
  • United Healthcare
  • Workman Compensation plans

CareCredit

It’s something you’ve always wanted to do, but something else was always there to hold you back. Well, not anymore. We offer CareCredit, a card designed specifically for your healthcare needs. CareCredit can help you move forward with getting the procedure you’ve always wanted. With low minimum monthly payment options, no up-front costs, no prepayment penalties and no annual fees, you can get your procedure sooner.

CareCredit works just like a credit card, but is exclusive for healthcare services. With low monthly payments every time you use it, you can use your card over and over for follow-up appointments or different procedures. This means you don’t have to put your health on hold until you save up enough money. We give you the power to decide when it’s the right time for you.

With CareCredit, you can:

  • Get the treatment or procedure you want, when you want it
  • Get No Interest financing if paid within 6 months (Additional plans may be available)
  • Enjoy low minimum monthly payments
  • Pay no up-front costs, pre-payment penalties or annual fees

The Cost of Your Procedure

Because you are responsible for costs for covered healthcare services until you reach your deductible, you should comparison shop if you elect to have a nonemergency procedure.

You can use tools like Healthcare Bluebook and the Medicare Procedure Price Lookup (for Medicare patients).  Many health insurance websites also provide information on where to find in-network services.
