Michael Lee, M.D. is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and received his medical degree from The University of Arizona in Tucson. He completed his residency at University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, Kansas and completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at University of Illinois College of Medicine.
Dr. Lee is currently Head Team physician and Orthopedic surgeon for the Major League Baseball Arizona Diamondbacks and National Football League Arizona Cardinals. He also served as orthopedist for the USA World baseball team.
In addition, he maintains a private practice specializing in sports injuries, concentrating on injuries to the knee, shoulder, and elbow. He serves as consultant for numerous local colleges and high schools.
He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine, Association of Major League Baseball Team Physicians, NFL Team Physicians Society, Arthroscopic Association of North America, American Medical Association, and Maricopa County Medical Association.
